Task 2
My strategies kept my students engaged and learning. The bell work question was challenging and new to the students, but it was answerable with the tools they already had learned in the content. The beginning of the class (clip 1) was a discussion so I think it was very helpful to a lot of students that are not auditory learners. The discussion worked for the students so that they could come to their own conclusions and helped it to be more relevant to them. Questions were asked of the students to help them reach important key ideas of the lesson. I also called on students randomly to make sure that everyone was participating in active listening.
The lecture (clip 2) was short and to the point. It left out most of the confusing jargon and stuck to the facts. This helps to bring in the students who need structure or they will get off task. Portions of other courses and relevance to the real world was an important part of the lecture as well. This helps the students to continue in active listening as they feel the topic is meaningful. The lesson ended with a game that kept the students engaged until the end of the period. The game activity had the students writing down facts and answers to questions; this kept the students constantly active and involved. As students were working on the game I walked around the classroom and assisted where I was needed. I also found time to further the learning in some questions.

Analysis and Relfection
I think that the strategies I used during the class period met the needs of the diverse learners in my room. I had the students doing an interactive discussion which helps logical learners, they all listened to a presentation which helps the auditory learners, and they all played a game which helps the visual and perhaps even the kenestetic learners.
